I had a fantastic experience with Selina Surf School at Selina North. We took a surf lesson and rented boards for a few days. The boy at the surf reception was incredibly helpful, and then we went surfing with local instructors Juan, Pablo and Danny. What an amazing experience! The local instructors were very professional and provided excellent instructions. I highly recommend this place. After a few lessons, we were ready to rent boards, and these were also in great condition with outstanding service.

My stay at this Selina truly exceeded my expectations. The service from the staff is welcoming and kind, from the second I checked in, throughout my stay and even until I checked out. The activities, like Karaoke night and the welcome drink, were great opportunities to meet other travelers and make new friends as a solo traveler! The drinks at the Karaoke night were also very good and the bartender had great recommendations! Big thank you to the entire front desk staff that was there for my every need and gave me great recommendations in the town; and a big shout out to Valeria and Mariana for putting on great activities that got me out of my shell. I would highly recommend this Selina and I hope I get to come back in the future!!!

I was in Salina for two weeks and it was all fun and nice. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day and towels are changes. The best thing was the surfing lesson I did through Selina! Roy the manager was patient and attentive to us, gave us excellent service and was available for any questions. Pablo the surf instructor was wow! Professional and with a lot of patience for those who have no knowledge of surfing and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable. Thank you so much for a great experience!!

The 5 stars is for the staff and location. Brian at the front desk was very helpful, Roy at the surf shop was also great. Location is right on the beach. Rooms could have been cleaner and more updated but they got the job done. Would recommend for someone who is looking for convenience to the beach and main strip of stores/bars and friendly staff.

We checked in last night and right as we checked in, we were told there is no water. We’re only staying for one night and had been traveling all day to get here, so showering and using the rest room was essential for us. We were told it would return in a few hours, which allowed us just enough time to go around the city to explore, get dinner and have a swim at their beautiful pool. We rinsed off and headed back to our room. Air conditioning was good, and sheets were clean. Also, be advised that this hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so if you have bags, you have to carry them up the steps. To compensate for the water issue from the night before, the front desk was very nice to allow us to use their showers and towels to dry after we checked out, which my husband and I both appreciated after being at the beach.
