Socialtel San José

Socialtel San José (formerly Selina San José) is a boutique hotel in the Barrio Otoya neighborhood of central San José. After Selina’s insolvency in 2024, the property was acquired by Collective Hospitality and rebranded as Socialtel, shifting from a hostel-coworking model to a boutique hotel experience.

The property is located in a historic neighborhood just a 10-minute walk from the National Museum of Costa Rica, the Spirogyra Butterfly Garden, and the Jade Museum. Socialtel San José offers a mix of private rooms and shared dorms, along with a restaurant, bar, common areas, and garden terrace.
